Calorimeter Timing Calibration · Most crates timed between T&C and BLS crate controler · timing of L 1 trigger framework done Þ FPGA modification of 1 s necessary · Fine timing calibration has to be done with collisions or beam-gas events Þ special Read. Sampling Weights • sampling fractions and dead material corrections are combined in optimized sampling weights EM section • optimized layer weights for the 4 EM layers calculated using electrons in plate geometry. • weights calculated as a function of the tower ieta. HAD section • weights for the fine hadronic sections calculated usingle pions. • weights for the EM layers are kept fixed relative to their electron values. • coarse hadronic sections are being appropriately left out from the optimizations.
