Calendar Reading In Reading this week, the students will explore the question, ”How can people help to make your community better? ” We will review all letters (s, t, a, m, p, i, n, c, o, d) and all high frequency words to date. Students will continue to create and read CVC words with the short vowels a, i, and o. The students will continue to create and read sentences. Math In Math this week, we will continue Topic 5: “Numbers to 20. ” The students will count, read, and write the numbers, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20. Children will practice counting groups of objects to 20. Students will identify numbers 0 -20 out of sequence.
