Caleb – Great Man Of Faith Text: Joshua 14: 6 -15 (Numbers 13 -14: 24) “Caleb”: Bold, impetuous Caleb stands out as a great example of faith and courage (Heb. 11: 33 -34).

Caleb – Great Man Of Faith He Had Faith In God made a promise to Caleb (Josh. 14: 7, 9, 12). n Caleb knew God would deliver because He BELIEVED God’s word!! n Can you imagine standing against so many, knowing that you are right? (Num. 13: 30)

Caleb – Great Man Of Faith He Had Faith In God Caleb’s faith motivated him to wander in the wilderness, faithfully serving God. n What about us? (Remember: I Cor. 10: 10) n His faith caused him to say, “Now give me this mountain …” (Josh. 14: 12; Num. 14: 24).

Caleb – Great Man Of Faith He Followed God Joshua 14: 8 – “wholly followed” To what extent did Caleb follow God? Didn’t ask questions, just did as He was told (Josh. 14: 7, 10). To what extent are we following God? (Phil. 3: 13 -14; I Cor. 15: 58)

Caleb – Great Man Of Faith He Received His Reward Did you notice what land Caleb received? (Josh. 15: 13 -14 Num. 13: 33) It was the land of Anak!! The very land God had promised! God has promised us many things we can enjoy in Christ! If He promised, we KNOW He will deliver!!

Caleb – Great Man Of Faith He Received His Reward God expects the same from us as He did from Caleb! n Have faith in Him (Rom. 10: 17; Heb. 11) n Live honestly before God (Rom. 13: 13) n Follow Him (Matt. 16: 24, 19: 21; Jn. 21: 22)
