Agreement on strategy. n The priority is the bug fixing of the firmware. n n CAEN to inform us on technical feasibility/time to market/cost. n n n In particular the communication management. No specific requests for performance as such. The redesign of the event mode to cover most of the identified bugs, based on the document written in common with CAEN. Before LHC startup. No charge for bug fixes. EN-ICE make sure the requests are addressed and the event mode is redesigned properly. n Technical collaboration with CAEN to accelerate process. 2

Requests 7 (perf. as polling mode), 8(EASY systems covered), 9 (test protocol) and 10 (specific mod. fw. ) as « recommendations » for the redesign of the event – mode, in a separate document. Request 14 (remote diagnostic/recovery) processed with ( high priority. Rewording: granted. 3
