AIR FORCE JUNIOR ROTC AWARDS • Outstanding Cadet Ribbon • Awarded to a cadet in each grade level • Based on highest grade average in JROTC • Leadership Ribbon • Limited to 5% of Corp • Cadets in key positions • Achievement Ribbon • Limited to 5% of Corp • Cadet may earn once during the year • Superior Performance Ribbon • Limited to 10% of Corp • Meritorious Service • Distinguished Unit Award • All cadets in JROTC during year earned

• Aerospace & Technology Honors Camp Ribbon • Cadets must get selected and attended camp • Top Performer Ribbon • Outstanding Contributions during the UEI • Academic Ribbon • Grade of “A” in JROTC • Overall “B” average • Outstanding Flight Ribbon • One awarded per semester • Flights compete in 6 categories • Leadership School Ribbon • Complete an Approved Leadership School • At least five days in length • Special Teams Competition Ribbon • Awarded to drill team members for placing at a competition

• Orienteering Competition Ribbon • Cadets must place in a meet • Co-curricular Activities Leadership Ribbon • Awarded for leadership of activities • Military Ball Chairperson • Drill Team Ribbon • Participate in 5 drill team events • Color Guard Ribbon • Participate in 5 color guards • Saber Team Ribbon • Participate in 5 saber team performances • Service Ribbon • Awarded for accumulating 20 service points

• Extreme Excellence Challenge (E 2 C) Ribbon • Cadet must score 80% or higher on test • Gold, Silver, or Bronze star on standard fitness ribbon • Recruiting Ribbon • Participate in 2 recruiting trips • Recruit 2 students to JROTC • Activities Ribbon • Participate in competitive activities • Represent JROTC well • Attendance Ribbon • No more than 4 excused absences • No unexcused absences • Good Conduct Ribbon • No adverse reports from staff or faculty • Dress and Appearance Ribbon • Awarded to top 25% uniform grade averages

• Longevity Ribbon • Complete a semester of JROTC with passing grade • Marksmanship Ribbon • Shoot at least 200 during a competition INSIGNIA AND BADGES • Awareness Presentation Team Badge (APT) • Participate in 3 performances

• Distinguished AFJROTC Cadet Award • Awarded to an AS III junior • Must hold Leadership, Superior Performance, Academic, Co-curricular and Service ribbons • Aerospace Education Foundation (AEF) Academic Cadet Award • Awarded to Sophomore and Junior cadets • Overall 3. 3 GPA with no grade below a “C”
