CAAC ADS-B Next Phase Work Launch a series of ADS-B technology and function application verification projects, such as: ü air-air surveillance application based on ADS-B IN function. includes Commercial and General Aviation ü ADS-B ground station TIS-B/FIS-B function application verification. ü ADS-B airborne equipment application verification based on GNSS(GPS + Compass 2)

CAAC ADS-B Implement Office & Work Group Feb. 2012, CAAC ADS-B implement office & workgroup established. The Organization includes members of unit: CAAC Flight Standards Department CAAC Aircraft Airworthiness CAAC Air Traffic Regulation Office (ATRO) CAAC Air Traffic Management Bureau (ATMB) The Second Research Institute of CAAC(CAACSRI)
ADS-B Implementation Task Division of CAAC department u ATRO and CAACSRI responsible for preparation of “ADS-B General Plan and implementation solution of CAAC” u CAAC Flight Standards Department responsible formulating airborne equipment updating plan and flight crew training u CAAC Aircraft Airworthiness and Flight Standards Department responsible for ADS-B airborne equipment airworthiness certification
Task Division of CAAC department in ADS-B implement u ATRO responsible for the promulgation of the ADS-B ground station standard and ADS-B ground station equipment certification u ATMB excutes CAAC ADS-B implement program and responsible for preparation of the specification of ATC operation, equipment operation and staff training.
Release Schedules u May. 2012 Complement the draft of “ADS-B General Plan and Implementation Solution of CAAC”. u June. 2012 Submit to the ADS-B Implement office the comments edition of “ADS-B General Plan and Implementation Solution of CAAC”. u July. 2012 CAAC authority release official version.
