Respect Your Self • Respect yourself • Demonstrate personal management • Respect others and property if you do not listen to these rules you will get kicked off the computer for 10 days.
Grading • • Grades go as Followed: 20% theory 40% labs 40% Employability skills; how you act in class.
Communication Skills • All jobs require communication. Listen carefully, follow directions, and talk clearly to minimize miscommunications. Use proper etiquette don’t be rude! Use all manners and be polite.
Attitude • Always have a positive attitude, having a negative attitude wont get you anywhere, no one wants to work with a “Debbie Downer”. Ask for help when its needed don’t get frustrated and be mad. Be willing to learn new things.
Self management • An Employee who can do their own work with minimal management is in high demand in the workplace. You have a higher chance of getting hired if you can make the right choice and can work without getting told what to do.
Time Management • Managing time is important. You cant blow off your work until the last minute for everything, it will eventually fail, and with companies looking for employees who wont fail, your most likely get fired.
Leadership • A good business has good leaders. Leaders are what make companies, companies without good leaders cannot function. A leader is a person who sets an example for new persons to learn from. A leader is always available to ask questions, and is willing to help.
