Why is it important for writers to have a strong understanding of the English language? � � By having a strong understanding of the English language, you wont make grammar, spelling, or punctuation errors when writing business reports. By having errors in your report, your professional image goes down.
How does one decide what is appropriate to put in written form? � � You should not use any curse, inappropriate, or explicit words Don’t use slang Use words that will make you sound intelligent Only formal names (no nicknames)
