BUSINESS PLAN PRESENTATION SHARK TANK STYLE REQUIREMENTS

SHARK TANK • TWO PARTS: – Written Business Plan – Oral Presentation • Students will develop a written business plan in groups. • Students will also orally present their plan to judges in detail on the day of the Final Exam.

COMPETITION CRITERIA The following are the basic rules and guidelines established for the Shark Tank Challenge: GOAL: This challenge is meant to encourage the actual development of entrepreneurial skills. REMINDERS: • All ideas or business concepts must be legal, within the boundaries of local or state laws, and be ethical. • Business plan ideas will be judged on feasibility. • All ideas and business concepts submitted are expected to be original and created solely by the group. • All decisions of the judges are final. • The groups must complete their own business plan. Adult technical assistance will be limited to advice. • Written business plans will be made available to the Sharks prior to Exam Day.

ORAL PRESENTATION • The oral presentation will represent the 20 points for each individual group member. • The oral presentation should be at least 7 minutes in duration but no more than 10 minutes in length.
