Our mission BETA seeks to build: • a network of ELT professionals on a national and regional (Southeast Europe) level and • establish the association as a recognized mediator between educators and state bodies, public and other organizations. The best BETA presenters
Objectives • to meet out members’ needs for professional development • to provide information about: – recent development in ELT worldwide – current ELT-related events in Bulgaria and the region – learning and teaching opportunities • to defend professional interest • to promote Common European language teaching and testing standards

ACTIVITIES regional seminars and workshops SEETA • Beta has been an active member of the SEETA (South East Europe Teachers' Associations) community for more than 2 years now. • BETA is one of the eleven teachers' associations participating in it and has led SEETA events as well. • The project is led by TESOL Macedonia-Thrace (Northern Greece) and is funded by the British Council, Greece. • More information about the SEETA community can be found at: http: //community. britishcouncil. org/seeta/
