Purpose of Study 1. Given the practical capacities of the existing schools and in light of future enrollment projections, is it feasible to reduce the number of operating school buildings and continue to maintain the quality of the educational program? If so, how might the buildings best be utilized and what might the fiscal implications be? If not, what building modifications, if any, should be made, and why? 2. Expectations of Committee Members v. Attend all committee meetings v. Freely express their points of view v. Be a key communicator with stakeholder groups v. The Consultants v. Bring an outside, unbiased perspective v. Have no local stake in the outcome v. Will conduct the study in a fair manner v. Will ensure that the process is open v. Recommendations in the Report v. Will benefit student learning v. Will be sensitive to the unique cultural context of the school district v. Will be independent of special interest groups v.
