ELEMENTS OF COMMUNITY /KƏˈMJUːN TI/ NOUN A GROUP OF PEOPLE LIVING IN THE SAME PLACE OR HAVING A PARTICULAR CHARACTERISTIC IN COMMON.
CHALLEN GES Litdrive was created as a result of: Isolation of roles within schools A lack of networking available to teachers outside of social media Rapidly changing specifications (#KS 3 LTP) Recruitment and Retention issues
THE STORY OF LITDRIVE Resource Provision and Professional Development Enables teachers to share their experience and knowledge with a huge bank of members, extending discussions and collaborations and evolving this to adapted, high quality resources. Enables training and newly qualified teachers support; access to a bank of resources, but beyond that, a support network in what is one of the most challenging and timeconsuming stages of their career. Enables teachers to take ownership: drives forward the overarching message that you do not have to pay in order to receive support, be in receipt of strong, tested resources and participate in moving your career forward.
