Today’s Presenter: Jay Chapman Senior Consultant Jay Chapman is a functional and technical professional with 15 years of experience working with Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management, People. Soft, and Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management Cloud which includes Planning Budgeting Cloud, Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud, and Oracle Analytics Cloud. His industry background comprises of administering Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Public Sector Planning and Budgeting, as well as testing, troubleshooting, and migration across environments. He has a finance background with an emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Jay is an Oracle Hyperion Planning 11. 1. 1 Implementation Specialist and an Oracle Enterprise Performance Reporting 2016 Cloud Service Specialist. He also helped co-write the certification exam for Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud.

What is a Report Package? A report package is a reporting construct that enables you to: Structure the Content of your report Assign Responsibilities to content creators and reviewers Manage their collaboration and workflow
What is a Report Package? With report packages, you can: Assign Content to multiple authors Gather Comments from reviewers Provide an Electronic Sign-off on the completed report Manage the report lifecycle Combine Data Points with textual narrative Secure and Control Access to the report content
Doclets and Sections Doclets: Report packages enable you to divide reports into subcomponents called doclets. Sections: Sections enable you to group doclets. Section 1 Section 2
Development Phases Author Compile the various report content and supporting details together into a cohesive report package. Review Gather commentary on multiple draft versions and revise the report content accordingly. Sign-off Gather electronic signatures from key constituents and secure report contents to prevent modifications.
Author Phase: Content Development Centralized: All content is developed by small group of users who contribute to content across the report. • Author phase is not enabled. • No workflow on doclets. OR Distributed: All content is assigned to users which contribute individual pieces of the report. • Author phase is enabled. • Collaborative with Workflow.
