Unit aims �This unit aims to enable you as students to develop an understanding of the ageing process and how health and social care settings work in partnership to promote and maintain the independence and well being of older people.

Social creation of dependency, 4. Disposable soma theory, 5. Genetically programmed theory, 6. Gender differences.
