Unit 1: Enterprise Coursework Unit 2: Investigating a Business - Coursework Enterprise involves taking risks, showing initiative and being willing to undertake new ventures. Do you want to learn the skills needed to set up your own business? For this unit, you will work in groups developing a business idea. You will create a business plan and pitch your idea to professional business people. You will research TWO local businesses investigating the factors that have helped them to become successful; exploring their competitors and the external environment. You will need to be able to carry out research on the internet and interview small business owners. Unit 3: Finance and Promotion - Exam If a business is going to be successful, it needs to make money. You will learn how a business can increase its revenue and reduce its costs. You will also learn how to gain more customers from creating an awareness of your business. You will be tested on this with an exam.
