BABR – Vision/Mission The Babe Ruth Baseball program, using regulation competitive baseball rules, teaches skills, mental and physical development, a respect for the rules of the game, and basic ideals of sportsmanship and fair play. In all aspects, Brooklyn Area Babe Ruth is committed to providing our participants the best educational sports experience possible. It is our fundamental belief, that every child with a desire to play baseball, be given that opportunity.

BABR – Player Evaluations All incoming 13 s get evaluated to establish a data point to guide drafts Batting T, Front Toss, and machine fed Live Fielding Stations are: Running Throwing Optional Pitching City League 13 s, 14/15 s use the evaluation scores to balance drafts
BABR – Traveling Tryouts Traveling tryouts begin when the city lets us on the fields after the thaw Teams are picked, tryout coaches are named, traveling coaches evaluate Spring League Games for Babe Ruth qualifications Approximately 10 5 inning games We often start with a 1 -1 count All players welcome, regardless of traveling intent Minimal coaching to evaluate baseball acumen, instincts, etc. Coaches select teams
