Bristol is the city of bridges, balloons, boats, bikes, Brunel and Banksy. There really are so many amazing things to do in Bristol! Visit iconic sights such as Clifton Suspension Bridge, Brunel’s ss Great Britain, Bristol Balloon Fiesta and Banksy street art tours. But it doesn’t end there… Bristol is also home to gorgeous green spaces for relaxation, historic houses and museums full of intrigue, cutting-edge art galleries and independent cinemas, cool restaurants and bars, some marvellous markets, various shopping centres and top notch themed tours. You can get a train from Swansea to Bristol (with a quick change at Cardiff Central) which takes approximately 1 hour 55 mins. This is a very popular destination for our GO!Trips. Unfortunately, we cannot visit in person at the moment but the Visit Bristol website has some great information and virtual tours. Things to see and do in Bristol Harbour side: Dating back to 1051, Bristol Harbour was once a busy trading dock for sailors and merchants. Today’s Floating Harbour is now a modern hub of restaurants, hotels and buzzing nightlife. The harbourside boasts various attractions such as The Matthew and the SS Brunel, or why not take a leisurely boat trip or visit M SHED to take in the area’s history.
