RENEW INSTRUCTIONAL LEADER PROFESSIONAL LICENSE • Director of Schools Recommendation • Current in required TASL Hours • Non TASL-Mandated – Submit an application for renewal

TASL MANDATED POSITIONS • Administrators in a TASL mandated position may use this experience in lieu of submitting PDPs when renewing their professional teaching license.

NON-TASL MANDATED POSITION • Educators with an active administrative license, who are not in a TASL mandated position must submit 60 PDPs to renew their professional teaching license. • TASL Exempt administrators are not required to submit PDPs for renewal of the professional teaching license.

SUMMARY • We are in a new TASL cycle. You must complete and upload 14 hours of TASL approved training with appropriate documentation by June 30, 2019. • There will be no TASL approved activities provided by the district this school year. • Advancement and renewal of administrative licenses require multiple steps and the requirements will vary by type. • Most of us are managing an administrative and professional teaching license.
