God’s Special People – with certain obligations… � 2 Peter 1: 8 “For if if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ”

Christians are blessed to be children of God… � � Galatians 3: 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Christians are blessed to be children of God… � Matthew 12: 48 But He answered and said to the one who told Him, "Who is My mother and who are My brothers? One who was “bought at a price”… � � � Is now one of God’s special people Is a child of God Is a pilgrim and sojourner

Are we living as one who was “bought at a price”? � � � Are we acting like a special people? Do we act like a child of God should? Is our life a sojourn, or are we living like we want to make this world our permanent home? !

� � � Hear – “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. ”.
