Book Summary Beatrice (Tris) Prior must select a new faction, or group, to join after her sixteenth birthday. Once Beatrice makes her choice, she must complete a difficult initiation process. Along the way, she makes new friends, but she must hide an important secret about her true self or face severe consequences.
