Book Review - Grade 3+ Book Title: Your Name: Your Class: Your House: Author: Illustrator: How was the book written: diary style, a day in the life of or a term of school? Genre: Fiction/non-fiction What Age and Interest group would like in this book? Main Characters: Who were the main characters? What were their names and what did they look like? What characters did you like or dislike and why? Setting: Where did the story take place? Was it in a made up place or somewhere in outer space? Give a good description with lots of details Overview of the Storyline/Plot: What happened? What happened in the beginning, middle and the ending? Were there any plot twists? Did you find it interesting?

Book Review Pupils What to do 1. Read a book 2. Pick up a Book Review template from the Library and complete it. 3. Sign and date it. 4. Get a parent/guardian or teacher to sign it also. 5. Hand it in to the Librarian. 6. Once you have completed 6, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement and 10 House points for your school house. Book Review Teachers/Parents/Library staff 1. Encourage children to take part and read more books. 2. If they ask you to sign and date it for them please do. NB: The Library will take a copy of all Book Reviews to file and display some of the Book Reviews The library will also track all Book Reviews and report on a weekly basis to Mrs Crouch the total number of Reviews received and if there any certificates to be completed. If there are, the Library will print certificates and prepare for Mrs Crouch to sign and deliver.
