Application Continued. . I have always attempted to infuse meaning into my teaching, and to foster thinking skills. I now have a bigger “bag of tricks” to use in my classroom to foster critical thinking and metacognition. I hope to be more mindful of these when I make and modify lessons in the future. Too often I do not make a conscious effort to incorporate the two into my lessons.
