Micro Dermal Piercing • A micro dermal piercing is a single point piercing that is installed on flat surfaces on the body. • This specific piercing has no exit point, it is embedded deep in the dermis • Takes about 3 months to heal with proper cleaning precautions.
Micro dermal Piercing procedure • The procedure is similar as in the procedure using needles, but the mechanism of making the pouch is different. • Piercing using the dermal punch is used more commonly because this is less painful and safer than in using needles. • However, the use of dermal punches is not legal in some places.
Pros and Cons • PROS • Easy to clean • Less risk of infection. • Heal in 2 -3 months at the maximum • CONS • Cant be taken out & put back in like regular piercing • Has to be removed by a professional. • Skin might dry out easily, so you must keep moisturized at all times

Ear Scapelling procedure • Ear Scapelling is when a professional piercer cuts a slice in your ear, rather than simply piercing it. • This slice then allows you to insert larger jewelry into your ear right from the start. • It safe with regards to the low risk of infection.
Pros and Cons • PROS • Get to desired size quickly • CONS • May have lots of blood loss • These are there for life. • If you want a normal ear lobe you will have to under go corrective surgery.
Sub Dermal Implants • A sub dermal implant is an implant that is placed under the skin, and leaves an impression on the out side of the skin
Sub Dermal Procedure • the majority of implants are inserted using a pseudo-surgical method. • Using a scalpel, a single incision is made. Through that incision a "pocket" is opened with the aid of a dermal separator. • The implant is inserted into this pocket, and the incision is closed with sutures.
