Boccia • The Game 1. Spin Coin The Referee makes the spin coin and the winner choose if he wants to play with the red or blue balls. 2. Throwing the Jack The side that has the red balls starts the first end throwing the Jack ball If the Jack ball is failed, it must be thrown by the next player. The Jack Ball is failed when: - it is thrown to out of the court; - it stays in the non/valid area; - it is committed a violation
Boccia • Cont. 3. Throwing the first coloured ball The player that throws the Jack ball shall throw the first red ball. His side shall continue throwing until they have a valid ball. 4. Throwing the first opposite ball The opposite side shall throw until have a valid ball on court. 5. Throwing the remaining balls The next throwing is made by the side that does not have the closest ball from the jack.
Boccia • Cont. 6. End Finish The Referee will finis the end if all the balls are played. 7. Throwing balls None ball can be thrown without the Referee permission. During the throwing: - The player shall not touch the lines.

The next side to throw will be determined according to the rules. If there are no coloured balls on the court the side which knocked the jack ball out will play again.
Boccia • Cont. 10. Equidistant balls When 2 or more balls of different colours are equidistant from the Jack ball. It is the side that threw the last ball that must throw again.
Boccia • Cont. 11. Scoring After all balls have been thrown, the side with the closest ball to the jack will score one point for each ball closer to the jack then the opponent’s closest ball to the jack. In the present end the score is: 1: 0
