Requiring Attention q Where it can be of benefit: ØTime, energy, resources provided to the newborn Christian; as well as the ones in distress (1 Thess. 1: 7; 5: 14) q Where it can cause hindrance: Ø When it impedes the growth of the church, holding back the efforts of workers -- more serious needs go unmet (Rom. 15: 20; 2 Cor. 2: 12 -13)

Purpose of this Lesson q Has not been to discourage "attending to others" when it is rightly needed (Gal. 6: 2; Rom. 15: 1) q Has been to challenge you in thinking about your service to Christ (Gal. 6: 4 -5) ØWhen a burden becomes unbearable: that is when we need "attention, help, resources of time & energy" from our brethren. ØBut when failure to bear our own load requires "A Constant Demand for Attention" from others, that is when we hinder the cause of Christ!
