Heron at the Lagoon This is the heron I saw as I was visiting the lagoon. I observed it for a little bit but it stood very still and didn’t move anywhere the whole time I was observing it. He turned his body around a couple times and opened his wings. He even tried to catch a crow that flew by but didn’t get him. The wind ruffled his feathers a little bit. The rest of the time I observed him he just watched for fish in the water but didn’t catch anything while I was there.
Bumble Bee at the Lagoon This bumble bee was spotted behind the bench I was sitting at. He kept flying around us and the flowers behind us. He would buzz around and then land on one while he sucked its nectar and rubbed his body collecting the pollin. A fly came by as well but the bee kept doing its thing. The bumble bee eventually flew away looking for new flowers to pollinate.
Reflection Questions What kinds of technology did you use at the lagoon? I used my iphone 8+ at the lagoon and that is it How did you use technology to complete your project? I used technology to take pictures of the lagoon as well as to find some of the organisms that live at the lagoon. My technology was also used to type up information and do further research on the scrapbook page assignments. Describe your comfort level using edublog/Microsoft teams. I personally extremely dislike edublog and microsoft teams; I just personally don't really find the purpose in it, I rather just answer the questions on a word document and email it in rather then opening a million pages and logging in 5 different times just to get to the page I'm looking for which ends up being a blank space just to answer questions on. What would you like to change/stay the same for next year in your classes with technology? As far as technology goes next year I would want the computers to change to macbooks because it is easier for me to work since we have 3 at home. Otherwise if that is not possible then if we could bring our own laptops to school so I could work on what I'm used to. I would also want to cut out the blog because I personally find it pointless as stated in the question above as well as microsoft teams.
