PROS OF THE IPHONE Multitasking, allowing key processes for certain apps to run in the background while resources can be directed to apps in the foreground. Apple has created Folders as a way to organize apps that correspond to their respective App Store categories, or whatever the user wants them to be. Enhanced Mail- a unified inbox that can handle multiple accounts, as well as threaded messages and attachments for third-party apps. Enterprise – Deploying multiple i. Phones over a business network is made easier and with security as a focus. The i. Phone has Face. Time.
CONS OF THE IPHONE Older models simply don’t support new features. No Flash. – Apple has made it clear that there will not be flash anytime soon. i. Tunes treats free application downloads like a purchase. Syncing your i. Phone between your phone and the computer sometimes is not always accurate. Jail breaking your i. Phone you have to be aware of is that it will void the warranty on your phone. Using apps or safari drains your battery. You have to be in an area with free wifi in order to access things on safari.
PROS OF THE BLACKBERRY From a business perspective, Black. Berrys have dominated the corporate world for the past decade. Blackberry’s have BBM (Blackberry Messenger) You can access your existing email accounts, Facebook, or just surf the net wirelessly. You can view email attachments such as PDFs, documents, and images. The Black. Berry operates on a number of global networks, as well wireless local area networks You can install Mac or PC friendly applications on your Black. Berry, to facilitate sharing information and projects between your computer and your wireless device.
CONS OF A BLACKBERRY BBM (Blackberry Messenger) often has complications. The track pad or ball (depending on the model you have) tends to stick, or freeze. If your password is entered more than 10 times, your phone will wipe itself meaning everything on your phone (every contact, picture, video etc…) will be gone. You are unable to turn some sound features off (ex. Camera “snap” sound)
WHAT WOULD I CHOOSE? After comparing the two phones, I would choose the Blackberry. I currently own one and it is the better device I think. It allows you to have internet access wherever, whenever. A good function about the i. Phone is that it allows you to download apps, but so does the Blackberry.
