Black Holes!
How black holes are formed (cont. 2) To know how black holes are formed, you must first know about blue stars. Blue stars are formed when lots of heated gas is pulled together. ( every thing has its own gravity, the bigger it gets the stronger the gravitational pull is. ) eventually it becomes a blue giant. Blue giants burn much hotter that our sun (a yellow/ white dwarf) the heat of the star affects the color.
How Black Holes are formed eons later the blue giant becomes bloated with age and expands to become a red super giant. A millennia of more waiting and finally the red super giant runs out of fuel in the core, so the star implodes. The outer layers are blown away by a powerful shock wave.
How black holes are formed (cont. 3) The only thing remaining core shrinks under the gravity, this forms a black hole
Locations of black holes Cygnus in the constellation the swan is a stellar-mass black hole. Cygnus lies on the Sagittarius arm in the Milky Way the black hole is about 8, 200 light years. It was found in 1972 by Tom Bolton.
Falling in It is unlikely that earth will ever come across a black hole, but if we orbited past the event horizon of a black hole the difference in gravity from one side of the earth would stretch like spaghetti this is called spaghettified and would then be ripped apart.
Time Warp If you happen to be a astronaut that didn’t get sucked into oblivion, the earth would seem to go in in slow motion while people on earth would see it as going fast scientist are baffled about this time warp. But at least the probability that earth would get sucked into a black hole.
