Bird Song A bird that sings!
Once upon a time there was a girl named Addison she lived in a little town in the middle of Alaska. There were only 15 people who lived there and Addison hated living there because nothing was like it was back in the day when there were no snowmobiles and cars. She hated all the modern day stuff and wanted it to be back to the way it was before.
One day Addison got so annoyed by the modern day things that she gave up and went to search for her song because it was believed that your song could make everything better so she set out to find her song. Everyone warned her to not do it and be careful but she was determined to find it so she continued on.
The way there she was trouble free and got to the temple of songs fine…but in the temple of songs she ran into a guard that was very grumpy. He had never had a day off of work and was very upset. He did not let Addison in and gave her many troubles he would not let her through the gates.
Addison begged him to let her in but would not give in and then she asked why not and the guard told her “why should I let you in… did you do anything to deserve your song” Addison replied “ no but I think that everyone deserves a chance to make things right. ” the guard decided that she was right and let her pass though but at the song stand the head officer wanted a reason why she wanted her song.
Addison gave her reason as “I hate the modern things created and all these things that don’t involve using the older ways. ” The head officer agreed and decided that it would be great to have the old ways back so he let her find her song and she realized the message within the song was not to change things back to the way they were but to leave things as they are and learn to adjust to it.
Addison returned home safely and told everyone that she will learn to adjust to the new ways and use them wisely not to over use them but to use them when needed. All 15 members of the town took her songs advice and decided to stop the over use of snowmobiles and to only use then when absolutely necessary. Addison adjusted to this and was happy with the towns decision.
Over time they slowed and slowed the use of modern day materials and now only once and a while they used modern day materials… Addison was pleased and lived happily after ever.
