Gay Surrogacy in Israel �Commercial Surrogacy in Israel is Legal since 1996, for Heterosexual Couples only �Other commissioning parents can go abroad, as long as the resulting child is genetically linked to at least on parents. �First recorded case of Gay Surrogacy: 2005, India �Rise in number of cases, from few in 2007, 2008 to hundreds of babies per year. �Gay surrogacy is generally accepted in Israel, albeit its legal liminal standing
