What we will Learn �Scientific Inquiry Measurements & Procedures �We will discuss how scientist Solve problems, tools, tables and conversions that help solve scientific inquiry and proper lab safety and techniques.
What we will Learn �Chemistry of Living Things �We will discuss how our bodies respond to changes that can harm us and we will discuss the compounds that work on the chemical level in living organisms.
What we will Learn �The Cell Theory and Cell Organelles �We will learn about cell theory, the different types of cells and how life is organized in organisms. We will also learn about the Cell organelles and their functions.

Classroom Introductions Activity �River flow share �As a class we will introduce ourselves. �The purpose of this activity is to understand one another and learn a little about our backgrounds and interests. STUDENTS WILL STATE THEIR NAME AND ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS. �What do you like to do (hobby, activity, etc…)? �What did you do this summer? �What is your favorite Subject?
EXIT SLIP PROCEDURES 1)Students will be given Exit Slips at the end of Most classes. 2) Students will follow the same procedures for handing out work 3)Students will sit quietly and complete the Exit Slips in its entirety. 4) Students will then quietly begin to pack away their materials and clean their area. 5) Once teacher dismisses students, students will place Exit Slips in the designated area and leave the classroom.
EXITING THE CLASSROOM PROCEDURES 1)Students are dismissed by the instructor. NOT THE BELL !!! 2)Students will be told when to begin preparation to leave the classroom. 4)Students will be given tonight's HOMEWORK and will place in folders 5) Students will then follow the EXIT SLIP PROCEDURES. 6) Extra copies of HOMEWORK will be left at the front table
