Biochemistry 455 Fall 2009 Techniques in Biochemistry Biotechnology
Biochemistry 455 Fall 2009 Techniques in Biochemistry & Biotechnology Instructor: Gail Grabner (ggrabner@illinois. edu) Topics: Protein purification, Dipeptide sequence analysis, Molecular cloning, ELISA, Lipid analysis Student comments: “I took a lot out of this class; almost nothing was repetitive of anything I had learned in any other lab. ” “I feel that my lab skills improved after taking BIOC 455. I’ve gained more experience and learned a lot of techniques and assays. ” “The techniques used here are genuinely applicable, particularly for students already doing research & considering graduate school. ” “Things I learned in BIOC 455 will most definitely help me when I enter the workforce. ”
