A native to the Washington DC suburbs, his musical palate is as eclectic as the community that he proudly calls home. His sets range anything from Top 40 and House to Latin Dance & Hip-Hop. In his words, "it's all about getting the perfect reaction. There's nothing better than dropping the perfect track at the perfect time to not only watch but feel the joyful excitement of whoever's on your dance floor. It doesn't matter if I'm playing at a nightclub, a local bar or a private wedding; there's no better 'high' and it never gets old. " He is no rookie either when it comes to helping crowds have a good time. From his gritty roots as a college bar DJ in UMCP havens like Terrapin’s Turf and Looney’s Pub to his current stomping grounds in nationally renowned clubs such as The Fillmore Silver Spring and Power Plant Live, DJ Sway has remained a firm believer that the best experiences for a DJ are those where the audience is lost in continual moments of joy as they dance to the sounds that they want to hear.
