School Land Trust Fund The School LAND Trust program brings tens of millions of dollars annually to meet academic needs in Utah public schools. The funds are generated from the earnings on the permanent State School Fund, where revenue from school trust lands is invested. The funds are discretionary for academic instruction and play a vital role in student success. NDPA has a Trust Lands Council that identifies the focus of the School LAND Trust plan. Plans are developed to improve student academic performance in the identified areas with the annual School LAND Trust program funds. Parents are invited to apply to be part of the committee by sending an email to jbritton@northdavisprep. org; an election will be held in September. The plans are approved by the council, submitted to the LAND Trust website, and approved by the NDPA Board of Directors. CURRENT PLAN NDPA students will be able to advance skill enhancement, skill practice, assessment review, and curriculum research, through better and more consistent access to technology. NDPA, in providing more access to technology, and to help prepare students for high academic achievement, bi-literate proficiency, and a love of learning, expect to increase student proficiency on RISE scores in Language Arts, Math, and Science.
