Supporting Action through First-aid Education (SAFE) • Commissioned by British Red Cross • Aim: to determine population groups with the potential to benefit from first aid education • 10 month study - qualitative and survey methods • Collaboration with Avoiding Hospital Admissions HIT #BHPhitconf
Challenges • Time for clinical colleagues to contribute • Those able to ‘buy out’ their time best able to contribute • Will be discussion point at a HIT strategic review meeting on 29 th June. #BHPhitconf
Future • Dependent on outcomes of strategic review • Supporting Bristol Public Health in their child injury health needs assessment and prevention strategy #BHPhitconf
