CERN’s travelling offer Goals of this meeting • • • To (welcome and) introduce Paul to CERN’s travelling offer: approach, available offer and process To update everyone on current requests First discussion on how to use CERN’s travelling offer more strategically, for proactive engagement with Member States and Associate Member States (priority) as well as with Non-Member States. 20 -Jan-22 CERN's travelling offer
Our approach: We work with the requestor to identify the best offer from our “catalogue”, tailored to the target audience and their communication /outreach/education goals (Led by: Antonella and Charles-Henri) 20 -Jan-22 CERN's travelling offer

CERN’s travelling offer Workflow for assessment and approval of requests 1. The online request form is submitted by the requestor; 2. Preliminary evaluation within ECO (outreach potential and logistics): • • 3. 4. 5. Charles-Henri assesses availability of requested exhibition/object against the calendar, as well as the technical feasibility (with João, as necessary) Antonella assesses the potential impact regarding venue and audience (including any complementary content that might be proposed); If technically and chronologically possible, Charles-Henri sends an email summarising the preliminary evaluation to either Emmanuel (if request comes from an AMS or NMS) or Paul (if request comes from a MS), with the others in the e-group in copy (political engagement priorities) Answer to Charles Henri, with or without further discussion with other members of the e-group; Charles-Henri/Antonella reply to requestor and begin the next phase of content and technical/logistics preparation. *In some cases, requests are small and decisions can be made within ECO, at the level of the GL (e. g. for single/small objects) 20 -Jan-22 CERN's travelling offer
