Bachelor/Master in Architecture Professional Bachelor in Applied Architecture (HOWEST) (Professional) Bachelor in Construction/Engineering Howest Post Graduate Course – BIM-editor IVPV Course – Information Management in Construction (BIM) Theoretical knowledge/basic use/broad modelling principles Integrated practical knowledge / advanced modelling techniques / full use Broad expert modelling techniques / knowledge Beyond BIM Implementation/Management BIM-related courses

BIM-editor (2017/2018): • • Aimed at all alumni from bachelors and masters in architecture & construction that include a (basic) BIM-course Accessible for professional with a BIM-certificate (basic modelling courses) 2 years Fully modular The BIM-editor is an expert in modelling within different (software) environments. He knows how to handle and share models, how to extract and reuse data and how to streamline a BIM-workflow. He knows about BIM-based simulation, parametric design, creating BIM-objects, (interactive) visualisations, 3 D input and output and other things “beyond BIM”. The BIM-editor is the intermediate between the modellers and the BIM-manager – he speaks several BIM-dialects. Post Graduate in BIM @ HOWEST

Modules: Year 1: • • • Module 1: Expert modelling (several major software-packages) Module 2: Model checking Module 3: Parametric design Module 4: Simulations Integrated project (when following all modules) Year 2: • • • Module 1: Static visualisations Module 2: Dynamic & interactive visualisations Module 3: Input & output Module 4: Management Integrated project (when following all modules) Post Graduate in BIM @ HOWEST
