How applying VPI (I) VPI • Are guidelines • Is not always suited for Belgian wagons SNCB • Is a regulation • Is tailor made for Belgian wagons ECM TRW regulations • The basis is VPI • A layer added with proper TRW regulations • Layer can be in plus or minus • New situation with VPI and ECM TRW regulations must be at least as safe as the former situation with SNCB regulations Risk Analysis 28/04/2014 Robert Bauwens 12
How applying VPI (II) Exemples 1. VPI not so strict as SNCB regulation a.
