Beth Jessup Personal Fitness Trainer Training Philosophy: My role as a personal trainer goes beyond sets and reps, it’s one of service. I strive to make a difference in people’s lives, to encourage movement, healthy living by educated choices and lifestyle changes you can use throughout a lifetime. With increased exercise, balance and movement, more energy is achieved leading to a better sense of self and hopefully a healthier happier life. I believe if you feel better it will be reflected in life, work and family, it’s a winning combination. If I can be the one to help an individual achieve this in any capacity, then I’ve done my job. If the goal is to walk up a set of stairs or run a marathon and the commitment is made, then let the games begin. I believe with a research backed science based program anyone at any stage can benefit. With proper training and technique one can safely achieve their goals. I believe in an overall wellness plan where not only increased strength and endurance is achieved but also healthier nutrition choices are made to round it out. I believe accountability and motivation can also be factors in success as well. I have a track record of being able to encourage and motivate change if the desire and commitment is there. It’s important to have realistic measurable goals and follow a solid program to help achieve them over a reasonable amount of time. Appropriate planning and execution is essential. Why do I want to do this? Because I genuinely care about the overall wellbeing of others and I believe that it’s possible for anyone to make a life change. People can feel better. If the choice is made to make a change, I would love to be the mechanism by which they achieve their goals.
