For the topic/objective, write: To activate background knowledge about the Holocaust and use it to deepen our understanding of the graphic novel Maus. In the questions column, write the letters of the alphabet, one per line, all the way down the paper. Use the back too. A B C D etc. Write a word that has something to do with the Holocaust and/or World War II that begins with that letter. For example, for A, you might write Auschwitz, the name of the Nazi death camp located in Poland.
