• JOINING TOGETHER TWO HEIRS OF GOD – In marriage, two individuals are: • Joined & yoked together by God (Matt. 19: 6; 2 Cor. 6: 14) – In Christian marriage, two faithful “heirs of God” are: • Joined as “heirs together of the grace of life” (1 Pet. 3: 7) • Equally “yoked together” (2 Cor. 6: 14 -16) – Sharing unique “communion, ” “harmony, ” “agreement” • “Built together for a dwelling place of God” (Eph. 2: 22)
• GROWING TOGETHER AS HEIRS TOGETHER – “Live together” (1 Pet. 3: 7) – “Hearts…knit together in love” (Col. 2: 2) – “Joined together in the same mind” (1 Cor. 1: 10) – “Pray together” (Acts 12: 12; cf. Ro. 15: 30; 2 Cor. 1: 11)
