Watering your vision/dream
1. Limit yourself to outside influence or interference. a. Disconnect from sources that hinder you or discourage you. b. Connect with those of like vision or like passion c. 1 Corinthians 15: 33: Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits” (NKJ)
2. Rekindle the passion for the vision/dream. a. Proverbs 4: 20 -22 b. Put pictures of the vision in and around your home, in your car even at your job. c. Keeping it before your eyes will cause you to focus on the outcome, not what your experiencing at the moment.
3. Give your vision/dream adequate time to grow based upon your goals and expectations. a. You decide which ground you are for the Word to grow! b. Mark 4 c. - Way Side; Stony Ground; Good Ground
What determines your good ground? • Proverbs 3: 5 -6 • Incorrect Sequence: – Business/Money, Self, job, family and God • Correct Sequence: – God, Family, Church and Job = SUCCESS
Watering your dream causes you to assess your dream removing things that hinder, adding things that enhance constantly breaking up fallow ground that needs to be stimulated for growth.
