City of Galveston Code • Section 29 -90: Development, Preservation and Protection of Sand Dunes. • (o) Public Beach Use and Access - Authority: 31 TAC Subsection 15. 7, requires that City of Galveston’s regulations of the pedestrian and vehicular access, traffic and parking on the beach in a manner that preserves or enhances existing public right to use and have access to and from the beach.
Section 29 -90 Development, Preservation and Protection of Sand Dunes (4) All parking and access must be consistent with General Land Office regulations as promulgated in state law. The City of Galveston therefore, adopts Beach Access and Parking Plan as it appears in Appendix A of this Section
