Children are not a case number; they are our future. The Family Assistance team is committed to helping each family navigate the complex systems that a family enters when a child makes an outcry of abuse. As each case goes through the investigation, prosecution and healing process, the team is there to help the family understand the process, learn about their rights and successfully access resources that will help their family during crisis. Abuse is not just physical!

If the person knew or should have known that the resulting photograph, film, or depiction of the child is obscene or pornographic. Sexual Abuse 73% of child victims do not tell anyone…EVER!

Adults who didn’t attend college and have a low household income are more likely to be divorced—Non-college educated couples are nearly 20% more likely to get divorced within the first 10 years of marriage than collegeeducated couples. Lower-income marriages just tend to be more unstable. Family structure Those who marry when between the ages of 20 to 24 have the highest rate of divorce.
