GIF Animator Algorithm Implemented § GIFs are suitable for sharp-edged line art (such as logos) with a limited number of colors. This takes advantage of the format's lossless compression, which favors flat areas of uniform color with well defined edges. § GIFs can be used for small animations and low-resolution film clips. § GIF files start with a fixed-length header ("GIF 87 a" or "GIF 89 a") giving the version, followed by a fixed-length Logical Screen Descriptor giving the size and other characteristics of the logical screen. Advantages of animated GIF's § GIF's can also be easy to make and can be entertain for the viewer as it hooks you on.
