Bassett Middle School Student Dress Code 2014 - 2015 Appropriate dress reflects Hound Pride!
SHIRTS NEW! TUCKING IN IS NOT OPTIONAL! • Shirts – Solid maroon and gold polo or crew neck with or without the Bassett logo. Appropriate size only.
UNDERSHIRTS • Undershirts – Solid colors only.
PANTS • Pants – Ankle length, appropriate size for the wearer. (No more than 1 size waist variance). • Plain cotton twill • Colors – Khaki, navy blue, black. • NO DENIM AND NO CARGO PANTS
BELTS • Belts – Must be plain and solid brown or black. • No decorations are allowed on the belts, such as spikes, studs, rivets, logos, monogramming, or large buckles. • Buckle must be plain. • Must be worn through belt loops.
OUTERWEAR • Outerwear – Must be open front. • Must be opened at all times.
PULLOVERS & JACKETS • No Pullovers • Hoodies – Full zippered hoodies are allowed and must be worn open in the building and without the hood.
SWEATSHIRTS • Sweatshirts (fleece tops) – Solid maroon and gold crew neck with or without the Bassett logo.
SHOES • Shoes – Only tennis/athletic shoes or other closed leather shoes with hard soles will be allowed.
HEAD COVERINGS • Head coverings – No bandanas are allowed at all. • No hats, caps, or hoods will be worn inside the building. X X X
JEWELRY Jewelry – Only stud earrings are allowed. Only ONE pair of studs may be worn. No other piercings or spacers are allowed at all. Rosaries may be worn, but must be tucked inside the shirt. • NO FACIAL OR BODY PIERCINGS ARE ALLOWED. • • X X
HAIR • Hair – Must be ONE natural color and cannot be distracting to the learning environment. X X
SPIRIT DAYS • Spirit Days – Club or college shirts along with uniform pants can be worn on Fridays. • If students choose not to participate in college day, they must be in full uniform. • Cheerleaders and team members will wear their uniforms on game day.
