Overview DEPED RM – 02 - 08 – 084 As response of building and improving outstanding results and excellent systems in implementing curriculum and learning processes in all schools, the Department of Education Region IVA thru the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD) announces the conduct of the Basic Education Assessment in CALABARZON (BEAC) for Public Schools as contained in the Enclosure of Dep. Ed Regional Memo No. s. 2018 entitled Calendar of Activities for School year 20182019

Strands The BEAC is composed of three (3) assessment strands in tracking learners progress, in identifying performing schools and learners and in improving teachers and schools teaching and learning processes and systems: Strand I : Knowledge with Understanding Strand 2: Application of Knowledge and Evaluation Strand 3 : Process and investigative Skills

Clusters Cluster A : Cavite, Cavite City , lmus City , Bacoor City and Dasmarinas City 480 slots Cluster B : Laguna, San Pablo City, Sta. Rosa City, Cabuyao City & Binan City 480 slots Cluster C: Batangas, Batangas City, Lipa City and Tanauan City -480 slots Cluster D: Rizal and Antipolo City -480 slots Cluster E: Quezon, Tayabas City and Lucena City - 480 slots

Testing centers and date of assessment - 1 -2 testing center per Cluster - Date of Exam – March 9, 2018 - Time: 9: 30 AM - Transportation: To be arranged by SH and PSDS (charged to local/school funds) - Participants are advised to wear school uniform with their IDs - Parents permit shall be secured for all participants
