Baseplate FNAL Visual Inspection F 10045793 G. Gallo, M. Frand et all. 09 -09 -2018 1
Visual Inspection and cross-check with Xometry CMM report 10, 18 – checked with the inner ribs. Based on the current status the ribs produce a step with the baseplate top surface. (Fail) 12 – can be acceptable since the 0. 3 mm of variation can be absorbed by the nominal gap between the screw and the bottom of the tapped hole. 13 , 17– it is hard to visual check and the large variation on the position tolerance might produce interference with the PIR-A mounting hole. 22 – this radius is in tolerance 26 – according to the GDT tolerance defined into the prod. Drawing this angle is in spec. 2
Visual Inspection and cross-check with Xometry CMM report 32, 41 – checked with the frame and the fit was ok. 3
Visual Inspection and cross-check with Xometry CMM report 74 – checked with the BIR and the fit was ok. Plus the tongue was inspected with the local custom made inspection tool and it appear to be ok. 77 – countersink missed (Failure for the electronic mounting holes) 80 , 83, 84– it is hard to say since there is not a dummy electronic board to cross check 82, 85, 86 it must be a typo error. Unknown real measurements. 4
Visual Inspection and cross-check with Xometry CMM report 99, 100 it is hard to say since there is not a dummy electronic board to cross check 110 (0. 6/0. 7 mm angular offset) it can be an issue on the Plane assembly process. 5

Visual Inspection and cross-check with Xometry CMM report 120 – the variation is in agreement to the prod. drawing. 121 – in agreement to the prod. drawings 7
