Based on what they’ve seen or experienced, many skeptics feel that fully becoming a follower of Christ will lead to a boring life filled with “boring Christian activities. ”
“Hedonism” • Pursuit of pleasure, sensual self-indulgence • The theory that pleasure or happiness is the highest good and the aim of human life
“Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die" is a combination of two Scriptures: Ecclesiastes 8: 15 and Isaiah 22: 13. The idea is… “You only live once, have fun. ” Not choose wisely.

1 Corinthians 10: 23 -24 23 “I have the right to do anything, ” you say— but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. 24 No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
1 Corinthians 2: 14 [Amplified Bible] “But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, them because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated. ”
1 John 2 : 15 -17 “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. ” 15
Psalm 16 - Trusting in God and Finding our Joy in Him
Luke 15: 11 -32 A son runs away from home to party away his inheritance. Becomes poor/desperate. Returns home to work for dad. Dad throws the son a “Welcome Home” party.
Can you believe in a God so big and loving that He chooses to fix problems with parties? He is more than what you think.
