z Forms of Baptism Sprinkling of water is sprinkled (falls lightly) on the person. Pouring of water is emptied or thrown over the head of the person. Immersion the entire body goes under the water
Types of Baptism z Infant Baptism to introduce or initiate the child into Christianity Adult Baptism to publicly show that the adult have accepted Jesus in his/her heart
Luke 3: 21 - 22 z Good News Translation § 21 After all the people had been baptized, Jesus also was baptized. While he was praying, heaven was opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit came down upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my own dear Son. I am pleased with you. ”

z As Jesus was baptized, a few events/ things took place: § The heaven opened. § The Holy Spirit descended on Him in the form of a dove. § A voice from heaven acknowledged Jesus as His son and gave approval to Him. § (Similar words were spoken during His transfiguration).
